How to mint 10,000,000 Purple Doge tokens

So what is going on here? Purple Doge Project is giving out 10,000,000 Purple Doge for anyone who wants to mint them. Wait, what’s the catch? Why should we mint these tokens?

Purple Doge is a new cryptocurrency token. It is a completely new token that has not reached maximum total supply yet. The smart contract behind Purple Doge wants to give everyone in the world the opportunity to get their share and, the best part is, it’s (almost) completely free!

Purple Doge Project is not charging any fee to mint. However, there will be a small gas fee that we will talk about further below in this article.

This article will serve as a tutorial, step by step, in order to mint these tokens.

So let’s cover some minting requirements before you proceed:

• MetaMask installed on your browser (https://metamask.io/)
• Some basic knowledge of Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
• Have an address ready on MetaMask with some BNB gas

If you don’t know how to use the BSC network with MetaMask, then add the following network to MetaMask:

To begin, visit the official minting website at https://purpledoge.com/ and click on the Connect Your Wallet button. You might see this message:

If you have it installed, then next step is to enable MetaMask

Click on MetaMask and the page will reload.

Well done! If you had to reload the page then click on the Connect Your Wallet Button again and choose an account to connect with. You should see your account address shown in the top left of the screen.

We are so close to minting. Here we see that you can mint up to 5 times! But for this tutorial, we are only going to mint once. Please take your time to read the disclaimer before you mint. In the next step, we are going to explain about the gas fees.

After you click the Mint Now button, MetaMask should popup with a request to mint:

At this point, you can review the details of the mint transaction. The fee shown in the picture is the gas required to make the transaction. The site suggested amount is to ensure that the transaction is processed successfully on the blockchain. There is no transfer of value to Purple Doge Project, which means this is not a token sale! The gas fee is required for the blockchain to record your new tokens at your address. When you are ready, click confirm!

Now we wait for your transaction to be processed… This can take up to a minute for the mint to happen on the blockchain.

Well done, you have successfully claimed 10M Purple Doge!

And now you have 10,000,000 Purple Doge (PURPLE) tokens on the blockchain which you can easily check by clicking on your recent transactions.

Please note if you attempt to mint more than 5 times, the 6th mint and beyond will not be accepted. It is possible to mint more using multiple addresses but that is not the point of this tutorial! Purple Doge Project is aiming for a fair distribution of Purple Doge.
